Camp Director- Leah Grimes Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Costume Director to join our youth theatre summer camp team. The Costume Director will oversee all costume-related aspects of our productions and help create a positive, encouraging environment for young performers ages 7-17. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and teens while bringing theatrical characters to life through costume design and coordination. Responsibilities Design, organize, and coordinate costumes for summer camp productions Work collaboratively with directors, choreographers, and camp staff Manage costume fittings for campers of varying ages and sizes Alter, repair, and maintain costumes as needed Organize costume inventory, labeling, and storage Assist campers with quick changes backstage during performances Teach basic costume care and theatre professionalism to students Ensure costumes are age-appropriate, safe, and comfortable Maintain a clean and organized costume workspace Help foster a fun, inclusive, and supportive camp environment Qualifications Experience in costume design, wardrobe management, theatre production, or related field Basic sewing and alteration skills required Experience working with children or teens preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced rehearsal and performance environment Positive attitude, patience, creativity, and teamwork mindset Ability to pass any required background checks Compensation $600 Dates & Schedule June 15th -July 12th (Flexibility with dates and times) How to Apply Please send the following: Resume Brief introduction or cover letter (if available) Portfolio/photos of past costume work (if available) Applications should be sent to:
