In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating industrial cremation equipment with precision and care, ensuring respectful handling of remains while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Your expertise will help provide families with a dignified service during their most sensitive moments, making a meaningful difference every day. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment that values integrity, respect, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Operate cremation equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures and safety protocols Perform heavy lifting of remains and related materials to ensure proper placement within the cremation chamber Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of industrial cremation machinery to ensure optimal performance Maintain detailed records of each cremation process, including chain-of-custody documentation and operational logs Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local regulations governing crematory operations and environmental standards Ensure the proper cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all equipment and work areas to uphold hygiene standards Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating industrial or specialized equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently as part of daily duties Prior experience or familiarity with funeral directing or related funeral service operations is preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent recordkeeping skills Ability to follow strict safety guidelines and handle sensitive situations with professionalism High school diploma or equivalent and Certifications in crematory operations are required Join us in providing respectful, dignified services that support families during their most important moments.
