We are looking for a dedicated, long-term Lead Kennel Technician who has the "tools to wrench"—someone who takes ownership of their work and is ready to become a primary caretaker for our amazing furry guests! Exceptional Guest Services:
Provide personalized, high-quality care, including feeding, administering fresh water, and following specific dietary instructions with total accuracy.
Playtime & Exercise:
Supervise active playgroups in our indoor and outdoor daycare yards, ensuring all interactions are safe, positive, and professionally managed.
Comfort & Cleanliness:
Maintain pristine sanitation and hygiene in all boarding rooms and common spaces. We take pride in a spotless facility!
Basic Spa Services:
Perform professional bathing and basic nail trims as part of our grooming and departure services.
Health Checks:
Proactively monitor the behavior and appetite of all pets, reporting any concerns immediately to ensure top-tier care.
Client Communication:
Greet pet owners warmly and professionally, providing the detailed updates that earn great tips and client loyalty. What We're Looking For (Qualifications) The "Reliability Factor": You understand that our guests depend on you. We are looking for candidates with a track record of punctuality and long-term commitment.
Animal Experience:
Prior experience in a kennel, pet resort, or shelter is strongly preferred, but we value a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude above all.
Physical Grit:
Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and comfortable working outdoors in the Florida climate. This is an active, physical job!
Safety Focus:
Confidence in supervising play and managing group dynamics to keep every guest safe.
