Full Job Description Job Overview:

Black Hawk Pet Crematory in Rock Island is seeking a motivated Crematory Tech and Pet Removal Specialist. We are looking for someone that loves animals like our family and give these pets the respect and dignity they deserve even after death. We are looking for a part time person that is flexible to work at different times of the day. You must be able to lift over 100lbs and can work in extreme heat or cold weather. You will primarily be cremating pets and later learn to cremate humans. We will help the right person become certified. Attention to detail and excellent communication is a must. This position will entail working as both a Crematory Tech and Pet Removal Specialist. Typically this is Monday-Friday and possibly weekends as needed. What will be needed as a

Pet Removal Specialist:

Strong verbal & written communication with team members and families Have a professional appearance Valid drivers license and clean driving record Will pick up deceased pets from Veterinary Offices and families homes Log in each pet information as we receive them. Accuracy & detail is a Must Make ink paw prints for our pet certificates Make clay paw or nose prints for our families as requested Delivery cremains to the Veterinary Offices & other businesses Some extended driving required outside the Quad City area Must be able to lift over 100 lbs
