About the Role At Hartsell Pet Services, we believe every pet deserves to be honored with dignity and care. We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Pet Cremation Specialist to join our team and help families through one of life's most difficult moments the loss of a beloved pet. This is meaningful work. You won't just be performing cremation services you'll be a caring professional that grieving families and veterinary partners trust during an emotional time. What You'll Do Pick up deceased pets from veterinary clinics and private residences Interact compassionately with grieving pet owners and veterinary staff Perform cremation procedures in accordance with company standards Create memorial paw prints and keepsakes for families Track and document each pet carefully throughout the process Prepare and deliver cremated remains and memorial items to families and vet offices Maintain accurate records in company software Keep a clean, organized, and professional work environment What We're Looking For A compassionate, professional demeanor, this role requires genuine empathy Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs Basic computer skills (data entry, email, company software) Ability to work independently and manage time well Experience in customer service, veterinary, or funeral services is a plus , but not required What We Offer $16.00/hour starting pay Full-time schedule Health insurance 401(k) retirement plan Supportive, caring team environment Work that truly makes a difference for pet families
