Job Description

Crematory Operator (Weekend Position)Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Crematory Operator to support the respectful handling and cremation process for deceased pets within our veterinary hospital.

This position involves operating crematory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and supporting a professional and compassionate environment for both team members and clients.

ScheduleSaturday and Sunday availability requiredAdditional shifts may be available based on operational needsJob ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:

Operating crematory equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelinesProperly identifying and labeling deceased pets prior to cremationPreparing and packaging cremated remainsMaintaining crematory equipment and surrounding work areasCompleting required documentation accurately and thoroughlyTransporting or delivering cremated remains to the designated locationUsing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Communicating professionally with hospital staff and team membersFollowing company policies and workplace proceduresPerforming additional related duties as assignedQualificationsQualified applicants should have:

High school diploma or equivalentValid drivers licenseAbility to complete training related to crematory equipment operationPrevious experience in animal care, veterinary medicine, or a related field is helpful but not requiredSkills & AbilitiesApplicants should demonstrate:
