Job Description
Pet Crematory Operator Help Families Through One of Life's Hardest Moments At Pet Reflections, we believe every pet deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. As a Pet Crematory Operator, you'll play an essential role in providing families with peace of mind by ensuring every pet is cared for with accuracy, professionalism, and the highest level of respect. This is meaningful work that requires attention to detail, dependability, and pride in doing things the right way. What You'll Do Verify identification and paperwork before every cremation. Safely operate pet cremation equipment following company procedures. Load and unload cremation equipment with care and respect. Monitor cremation cycles to ensure proper operation. Process cremated remains using specialized equipment. Package ashes in urns or memorial containers according to customer requests. Maintain an accurate chain of custody throughout the entire process. Clean and maintain cremation equipment and work areas. Complete required documentation accurately. Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines. Work closely with the Pet Reflections team to ensure every family receives exceptional service. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Dependable and punctual. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Comfortable following established procedures. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Respectful and compassionate. Mechanically inclined and comfortable operating equipment. Able to lift and move pets of varying sizes with proper equipment and safe lifting practices. Experience operating industrial equipment, manufacturing equipment, warehouse equipment, or cremation equipment is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to work in a warm and dusty environment around industrial equipment. Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds, with assistance when appropriate. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Why Pet Reflections? The work we do matters.
