Responsibilities:
The Licensed Electrologist performs permanent hair-removal services for a diverse patient population
  • with sensitivity to LGBTQA+ patients
  • using galvanic, thermolysis, and blend modalities.
The role conducts consultations, designs individualized treatment plans, and maintains meticulous clinical records while upholding all California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements. The Electrologist also contributes to clinic quality-improvement initiatives and stays current with emerging practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Completion of a 600-hour board-approved electrology program required Experience 1 year of paid experience performing electrolysis in a spa, clinic, or medical setting required Licenses and Certifications BLS
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required EL
  • California Electrologist License active and in good standing required CPE
  • Certified Professional Electrologist credential preferred
