Responsibilities:
The Licensed Electrologist performs permanent hair-removal services for a diverse patient population
with sensitivity to LGBTQA+ patients
using galvanic, thermolysis, and blend modalities.
The role conducts consultations, designs individualized treatment plans, and maintains meticulous clinical records while upholding all California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements. The Electrologist also contributes to clinic quality-improvement initiatives and stays current with emerging practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Completion of a 600-hour board-approved electrology program required Experience 1 year of paid experience performing electrolysis in a spa, clinic, or medical setting required Licenses and Certifications BLS
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required EL
California Electrologist License active and in good standing required CPE
Certified Professional Electrologist credential preferred
