SUMMARY:

The Spa Esthetician is both a skin architect and wellness concierge, delivering bespoke treatments that transcend traditional facials. This role combines hospitality, administrative efficiency, and retail expertise to promote spa services, manage bookings, and drive product sales. The ideal Spa Esthetician has the ability to craft moments of sublime indulgence, where every touch, scent, and texture is thoughtfully orchestrated to restore both complexion and spirit. By delivering impeccable service , the Spa Esthetician will uphold La Bahia Hotel & Spa's service standards (inspired by Forbes) while elevating our beachfront property.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY

Perform advanced facials, peels, and non-invasive treatments using premium product lines Masterfully customize protocols for diverse skin types/concerns (anti-aging, sensitivity, hyperpigmentation) Incorporate luxury enhancements for elevated experiences Maintain meticulous treatment room ambiance with aromatherapy, heated linens, and sound therapy Develop personalized home-care regimens with retail product recommendations Build lasting client relationships through attentive service and follow-up communication Manage personal booking calendar and client records in spa software Maintain inventory of professional products and treatment supplies Arrive 30 minutes pre-shift to prepare bespoke treatment elements Present treatment menus with sommelier-style product knowledge Coordinate with spa butlers for seamless pre/post-treatment transitions Ensure compliance with luxury brand standards and hotel policies. Adhere to strict sanitation protocols (OSHA/state board compliance) Maintain impeccable grooming standards, wearing the assigned uniform exactly as specified (proper fit, cleanliness, and presentation at all times Wear the official hotel lapel pin prominently as part of the uniform requirement, unless embroidered onto uniform Perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

(3+) years of previous experience in a luxury spa, medical aesthetics, or hotel preferred Expertise in microcurrent, ultrasonic, and lymphatic drainage techniques Familiarity with result-driven brands Comfortable working in varying indoor lighting and outdoor weather conditions Excellent communication skills and customer service skills Proficient in spa booking Spa management software Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a serene atmosphere Flexible to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to be standing and walking for long periods of time Capability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight (Up to 25lbs) This role offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions directly impact the guest experience.
