Requirements & Qualifications:
Active Aesthetician License (CT, NJ, and/or NY required) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical aesthetic or dermatology setting Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare products, laser/light-based treatments, and injectables Understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems Ability to work
Saturdays Must Haves:
Conduct in-depth skin consultations and build customized, results-driven treatment plans aligned with patient goals Perform advanced treatments including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, acne treatments, and microcurrent therapies Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, product usage, and long-term skin health strategies Maintain detailed and compliant patient records, including treatment history, product recommendations, and follow-up care Track referral sources and manage patient communication, including follow-ups and consultation summaries Monitor and maintain clinical equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance Manage inventory levels for both retail and clinical products, including ordering and stock organization Contribute to clinical education initiatives such as training materials, presentations, and onboarding of new staff Participate in hands-on training and mentoring of new hires as part of clinical orientation programs Support revenue growth through thoughtful product and service recommendations based on patient needs
Preferred Background & Skills:
Experience in a high-volume MedSpa or dermatology practice Exposure to advanced aesthetic technologies and procedures Strong retail and consultative sales experience in a clinical setting Experience training or mentoring other clinicians Confident, engaging personality with the ability to build long-term client relationships Passion for continued education and staying current with industry trends
