Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and professional Esthetician to join our team at Opal Gene Skin Studio. As an Esthetician, you will provide a variety of skincare services that enhance the beauty and wellness of our clients. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional facial treatments, waxing services, and recommending products for home care. If you are passionate about skin health, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a genuine interest in helping clients look and feel their absolute best, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Facial Treatments:

Perform custom facials tailored to clients' skin types and concerns (e.g., acne, anti-aging, hydration).

Hair Removal & Tinting:

Perform hair removal services, including brow and body waxing, as well as eyelash and eyebrow tinting.

Makeup Services:

Provide make-up refreshers and recommend makeup products. Offer lessons and event makeup services as requested.

Skin Analysis:

Assess clients' skin conditions and provide appropriate treatments and recommendations.

Product Recommendations:

Educate clients on Opal Gene's Skincare products and regimens that complement their treatments, fostering client loyalty. Including refillable options and environmentally friendly offerings for savings.

Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients by delivering high-quality service and personalized attention.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms and equipment, adhering to all health and safety standards with opening and closing duties. Including following a weekly/monthly cleaning schedule for the whole spa.

Team Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with other estheticians and spa managers to ensure smooth operations and a positive client experience. Participate in team building activities and support other practitioners when necessary.

Stay Current:

Keep up to date with the latest skincare trends, products, and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Promotional Content:

Be available to take photos and videos for promotional purposes as needed for social media and advertising.

Qualifications:

Licensing:

Current Idaho esthetician license (required).

Required Experience:

2+ years of experience as an esthetician, with a focus on facials, waxing, and other skin care treatments

Skills:

Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, products, and techniques. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to assess and understand client needs and concerns. Ability to perform treatments safely and effectively. Collect and handle payments with respect to the client Sales-driven with an ability to upsell and promote services and products. Proficiency in appointment booking systems and other spa-related software.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on treatments.

Professionalism:

Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

Other skin care treatments including advanced treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplane LED therapy). Ability to perform makeup applications and teach clients how to apply makeup. Previous experience with retail sales or product recommendations. Ability to build a loyal client base and retain customers.
