Job Description
Aesthetician - Distinctive Dermatology Fairview Heights, Illinois Distinctive Dermatology is a busy, patient-focused dermatology practice specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. We are seeking a professional, motivated, and team-oriented Aesthetician to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform professional aesthetic treatments including: Medical-grade facials Chemical peels Hydrafacials Microneedling Extractions BTL Exion and Emface treatments Educate patients on skincare products, treatment plans, and post-procedure care Assist in developing customized treatment recommendations for patients Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient records Support social media marketing efforts, including creating educational and promotional content Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in treatment rooms Collaborate closely with physicians, providers, and staff to ensure seamless patient care Assist with additional aesthetic services and office responsibilities as directed Qualifications Current Aesthetician or Esthetician license (Illinois) Experience in a medical spa or dermatology setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Passion for skincare, aesthetics, and patient education Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience with aesthetic devices and social media marketing is a plus What We're Looking For Professional and dependable Patient-focused with excellent customer service skills Team player with a collaborative mindset Motivated, energetic, and eager to grow within the practice Join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best while delivering outstanding dermatologic care.
