Job Description

Patient Consultations & Good Faith Exams:
Conduct thorough and comprehensive patient consultations, assessing individual needs, concerns, and aesthetic goals. Perform "Good Faith Exams" (GFEs) as required by Illinois state regulations, ensuring medical appropriateness and identifying any contraindications for aesthetic treatments. Develop personalized, results-oriented treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique anatomy and desired outcomes. Educate patients clearly and effectively on treatment options, realistic expectations, potential risks, and post-care instructions.
Aesthetic Treatments & Procedures:
Administer a full range of injectable treatments, including neurotoxins (e.g., Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) and dermal fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra), demonstrating advanced knowledge of injection techniques and facial anatomy. Perform various laser and light-based treatments (e.g., IPL, laser hair removal, fractional lasers, vascular lasers) following established protocols and safety guidelines. Execute other aesthetic procedures within your scope of practice and competence, such as [mention other services if applicable, e.g., microneedling, PRP, chemical peels]. Maintain meticulous documentation of all treatments, including patient progress, product usage, and adverse events.
NP Job Duties & Compliance:
Adhere to all local, state (Illinois), and federal regulations pertaining to the practice of nursing and aesthetic medicine. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies. Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish and review treatment protocols, ensure medical oversight, and address any complex patient cases. Manage and respond to medical emergencies as needed, maintaining current
BLS/ACLS
certification. Actively participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine, techniques, and products. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and utilized safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment environment.
Patient Care & Customer Service:
Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and patient satisfaction, ensuring every client feels valued and comfortable. Address patient questions and concerns effectively, providing clear and concise information. Foster a positive and trusting relationship with patients, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Handle patient complaints or adverse reactions with professionalism and escalate to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Team Collaboration & Professionalism:
Work collaboratively with all team members, including aestheticians, front desk staff, and management, to ensure seamless patient flow and a cohesive, positive work environment. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Act as an ambassador for Suburban Laser, promoting our services and values.
Pay:
$50.00 - $80.00 per hour
