Medical Aesthetician-Cosmetic Dermatology - Carmel Indiana University Health - 3.7 Carmel, IN Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Cosmetology License Customer communication Sales BLS Certification High school diploma or GED Esthetician License Full Job Description Medical Aesthetician-Cosmetic Dermatology - Carmel Job Description Overview About the Role Provide cosmetic dermatology services including: Facials Laser treatments Microneedling Support skincare education across clinics as needed See approximately 7-8 patients per day (1-hour appointments) Clinic Details Cosmetic Dermatology-focused practice Currently supported by 1 Medical Aesthetician High patient interaction role: 90% patient care 10% administrative tasks Steady, structured schedule with consistent patient flow Focus on quality treatments and patient experience
Schedule:
Wednesday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Hours:
24 hours per week (benefits eligible) No weekends or holiday requirements 11590 N Meridian St, Suite 450 Carmel, IN 46032 (Meridian Crossing Dermatology) Active Aesthetician License required 5+ years of experience in aesthetic services Strong background in cosmetic dermatology preferred Promote a positive image and contribute to the growth of the practice. Demonstrate high level of knowledge of cosmetic treatments, skin care products and procedures that will ensure patient satisfaction; perform facial skin rejuvenation procedures which may include facials, eyelash and eyebrow enhancement procedures, and make up application; educate patients about cosmetic treatments, products and procedures performed; develop, promote client relationships building repeat customer base. Requires High School Diploma/GED. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Current IN State License from Indiana Cosmetology Board required. Current IN State License from Indiana Cosmetology Board as aesthetician preferred. Two to three years experience as a cosmetologist required, licensed aesthetician preferred. Requires working knowledge of all aspects of cosmetology and best practices. Requires excellent communication and people skills. Requires proven ability to sell products.
