We provide a beautiful, fully equipped professional space, advanced clinical modalities, and premium backbar access for independent beauty professionals looking to grow their businesses in a collaborative, luxury environment. Position Overview (1099 Independent Contractor) We are seeking a skilled, licensed Independent Contractor (1099 Esthetician) who operates their own established beauty business and is looking to expand their footprint. This position is ideal for an ambitious, self-starting professional with a built-in local clientele who wants to utilize our premium facility on a part-time basis. The independent contractor will have access to the space every Tuesday (day/afternoon) and every other Saturday . As an independent business owner, you retain full control over your technique, execution, and brand promotion. We believe heavily in modern, digital brand building; therefore, the ideal contractor is highly enthusiastic about leveraging social media to showcase their clinical artistry, connect with the local community, and promote their availability within our facility.
Contract Structure & Schedule Job Type:
Part-Time / Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule Available:
Tuesdays (Day/Afternoon) +
Alternating Saturdays Tax Status:
1099 (Contractor is self-employed and responsible for their own quarterly taxes, licensing, and professional liability insurance) Core Services & Treatment Modalities Contractor will independently manage and perform a full suite of advanced clinical and esthetic services for their clients, utilizing our space and equipment:
Advanced Clinical Treatments:
Microneedling, advanced chemical peels, and targeted clinical facial protocols.
Waxing Services:
Comprehensive face and full-body waxing services.
Lash & Brow Artistry:
Lash tinting, brow shaping, and structural brow maintenance.
Product Line Alignment:
Designing customized home-care regimens utilizing our available backbar and retail line (Dermalogica). Social Media & Co-Marketing Expectations Because this is a collaborative, high-visibility environment, the contractor is expected to actively participate in digital marketing to drive mutual growth:
Content Creation:
Independently capture and produce engaging social media content (such as high-quality before-and-after photos, treatment reels, educational skincare tips, and aesthetic "behind-the-scenes" videos).
Self-Promotion:
Regularly post, tag the company, and share availability on professional social media platforms to independently drive client bookings to your slots at our facility.
Brand Advocacy:
Maintain a professional digital presence that aligns with a high-end, clinical wellness aesthetic. Qualifications & Contractor Requirements Active Massachusetts Esthetician License (Required) Active Professional Liability Insurance Policy (Required prior to contract start)
Experience:
1-2+ years of experience performing advanced modalities (Microneedling and Chemical Peels) and full-body/facial waxing preferred.
Established Clientele:
A loyal, local book of business is required, as the contractor is primary responsible for filling their own schedule and maintaining client retention.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarity or certification with the Dermalogica product line is highly preferred. What the Facility Provides Access to a beautifully designed, high-end, and supportive med-spa environment. Use of advanced clinical skin equipment and premium backbar products. Generous commission splits on services and retail product sales. Discounts on wellness and med-spa services.
