The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients feel confident, provides exceptional customer service, and is committed to delivering efficient, high-quality sugar hair removal services in a clean, welcoming environment. This role requires someone who is dependable, positive, and excited to help grow a new business by creating loyal, long-term client relationships. Responsibilities Perform professional sugar hair removal services according to Hello Sugar standards. Create an exceptional client experience from check-in through check-out. Educate clients on the hair growth cycle, home care, and the benefits of consistent sugaring. Recommend retail products and membership options when appropriate. Rebook clients before they leave to help them achieve their hair removal goals. Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes. Keep treatment rooms, reception area, and equipment clean, sanitized, and organized. Follow all state licensing requirements and infection prevention protocols. Assist with opening and closing duties. Help promote the business through excellent customer service, referrals, reviews, and community engagement. Work collaboratively to achieve individual and studio performance goals. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the Hello Sugar brand standards Experience Active North Carolina Esthetician or Cosmetology License (required before start date) Previous experience performing body sugaring or waxing preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate. At least 1 year of customer service experience in a salon, spa, medical office, or retail environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Experience educating clients and recommending services or retail products. Comfortable working independently in a single-provider studio. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. Professional appearance and commitment to exceptional client care. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. Comfortable meeting service, rebooking goals while maintaining a client-first approach. Availability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
