Licensed Medical Spa Aesthetician Job Summary:

Seeking skilled, motivated , customer focused Licensed Medical Spa Aesthetician to join our team. Candidate is passionae about skincare, patient education, and delivering exceptional treatment outcomes. This position is responsible for performing aesthetic services, recommending customized treatment plans and skincare products, maintaining treatment rooms, and helping build long-term patient relationships that contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

may include any and/or all of the following: 1. Successfully manage and maintain a consistent client base 2. Educate all clients on proper skincare techniques, sun protection, homecare, etc. 3. Advise clients on upcoming spa procedures 4. Obtain new clients' skincare history, including a list of all products and medications used, as well as past spa services and procedures 5. Follow-up with clients regarding physician-prescribed medical treatments 6. Answer client questions about skincare concerns 7. Perform services including but not limited to: Customized facials, Chemical peels, dermaplaing, microneedling (as permitted), hydrafacial treatment, acne treatment and care, Skin rejuvenations procedures, laser treatments (if certified and permitted) 8. Perform body waxing and upgraded spa services 9. Perform lash lifts and brow tints 10. Perform laser hair removal 11. Perform other medispa related treatments under Dr. Gordon's supervision 12. Provide thorough homecare instructions to all clients 13. Maintain proper client charts, including HIPAA forms, informed consent and signed release forms, client care forms, and recommended homecare forms 14. Coordinate client care with Dr. Gordon 15. Provide complimentary consultations regarding skincare services 16. Maintain treatment rooms and workstations in compliance with OSHA standards 17. Maintain equipment through cleaning and proper maintenance 18. Confirm client appointments 48hrs in advance 19. Consistently perform follow-up calls to all clients receiving spa services 20. Promote and/or market spa services on all social media platforms daily 21. Ensure client before and after pictures are consistently taken 22. Properly document all spa services performed in client chart 23. Assist with other duties, as assigned 24. Maintain inventory for professional and retail products 25. Promote spa products and maintain consistent product sales

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and experience equivalent to: High school diploma or equivalent, plus active Aesthetician license (required); with one (1) year of related work experience in a medispa and consistent client base (required).
