This is a unique opportunity to work in a medical setting alongside a board-certified podiatric surgeon, providing luxury and wellness-focused pedicure services while helping patients maintain healthy feet. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, values cleanliness and professionalism, and wants to be part of a healthcare team. Responsibilities Perform professional pedicure services in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Provide foot soaks, exfoliation, massage, nail care, polish application, and other cosmetic foot care services within licensure guidelines. Educate clients on proper foot care and home maintenance. Maintain treatment room cleanliness and sanitation according to state regulations and office protocols. Assist with scheduling and rebooking clients. Recommend retail products and wellness services when appropriate. Identify concerns that may require medical evaluation and coordinate care with the podiatrist. Medical Pedicure ProgramSome patients will be scheduled for a collaborative medical pedicure experience.
During these visits:
The Nail Technician will perform the cosmetic and wellness portions of the service. The Podiatrist will perform medical services such as nail debridement, callus debridement, laser treatments, and management of foot conditions when indicated. The technician will work closely with the physician to provide an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications Current Texas Nail Technician/Manicurist License required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong attention to cleanliness and infection-control practices. Experience performing pedicures preferred. Experience working with mature adults, diabetic patients, or medical spa clients is a plus but not required.
