Our mission is to give our patients access to the best medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatologic care under one roof. We see patients of all ages and backgrounds. A busy dermatology and cosmetic practice in Northern Virginia, seeking a Master Esthetician to join our team. Candidates must be •down to earth• and personable, and provide skilled, safe, and honest care to our patients. This can be a great opportunity for someone starting their career. Responsibilities:
Meet with patients to assist with cosmetic and skincare consultations and provide necessary patient education and counseling Perform customized clinical facials, extractions, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, medical grade chemical peels Under the supervision of the Dermatologist, will be trained on and perform microneedling and Clear and Brilliant. Other energy-based devices may be added over time. Provide product recommendations Generating/maintaining client base Communicate with patients who need follow-up or have questions promptly Attend office meetings The aesthetician will also be cross trained as a medical receptionist. If not directly with patients, the aesthetician will be responsible for answering patient calls, scheduling, checking patients in, checking patients out, sorting incoming faxes, coordinating with skincare and dermatology reps from other companies. If needed, may opt to work Saturdays and/or 1 evening a week to keep with client demand.
