Master Esthetician (W2 position)

Revival Spa is a cozy, community oriented, nonjudgemental wellness space in Ashland, VA providing both relaxing, rejuvenating treatments and results driven, therapeutic care. We are seeking a Licensed Master Esthetician to join the team! This position goes beyond providing services, it is a unique role where you will get a lot of flexibility and creative control as you work with the owner to support and guide the development of our Esthetics Department as we move into our next phase of development! Three years experience strongly preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone compassionate, supportive, and eager to educate. Qualifications:

Valid state licensure, proof of additional certifications is highly favoured but not required. Ability to accommodate and pivot between providing relaxing treatments and results oriented, corrective treatments to cater to the different types of clientele in a spa setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Part-time Duties Perform advanced esthetic treatments such as microdermabrasion, microcurrent, chemical peels, and other treatments requiring a Master Esthetician license Provide professional body waxing services with precision and care to ensure client comfort and satisfaction. Provide body treatments including full body scrubs and body wraps. Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on skincare routines and retail products to promote ongoing skin health. Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations after each service to ensure safety and hygiene compliance. Deliver exceptional customer service by listening actively to client concerns, answering questions thoroughly, and creating personalized treatment plans. Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable products that align with clients' skincare goals, boosting revenue opportunities. Experience Proven experience as a Master Esthetician or in a similar advanced skincare role within a licensed environment. Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients about procedures and product options while building rapport. Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a clean and safe treatment area. Ability to perform retail sales confidently while providing genuine product demos that highlight benefits.
