We are expanding our offerings to include luxury, holistic facial treatments and are seeking an experienced esthetician to lead and grow this category within our established, high-end spa. This is a rare opportunity to step into a fully supported environment with an existing, loyal clientele—while helping shape a facial program grounded in education, integrity, and inside-out skin health. About the Role This position is for an esthetician who practices beyond the surface. You understand the connection between skin and lifestyle, stress, hormones, digestion, inflammation, and the nervous system. You are thoughtful in your assessments, intentional in your treatments, and committed to supporting the skin's natural function and long-term resilience. You don't just perform facials—you guide, educate, and create transformation over time. What You'll Do Deliver customized, high-end facial treatments using a holistic, results-driven approach Conduct in-depth consultations, assessing both internal and external contributors to skin health Develop thoughtful, long-term treatment plans focused on barrier repair, circulation, and lymphatic flow Educate clients on skin physiology, home care, and lifestyle factors with clarity and confidence Maintain detailed and accurate client records Exercise strong clinical judgment, adapting or declining services when appropriate Collaborate with our team to create a seamless, elevated client experience Contribute to the development and refinement of our facial offerings Clinical Awareness You are confident navigating contraindications and complex skin presentations, including: Acne, rosacea, and compromised or inflamed skin Pregnancy and postpartum changes Autoimmune conditions and chronic health concerns Medications (retinoids, antibiotics, hormone therapies, injectables) Recent aesthetic treatments (lasers, peels, microneedling, injectables) Client safety, skin integrity, and ethical decision-making are always your priority. What We're Looking For Licensed Esthetician in Virginia Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a reputable spa, clinic, or luxury wellness setting Proven ability to build and retain a discerning clientele Strong foundation in holistic skin health, facial techniques, and ingredient knowledge Calm, confident, and professional presence High standards for cleanliness, discretion, and service Ability to work independently while aligning with a team-focused environment Commitment to continued education and growth Position Details Independent Contractor (1099) Flexible schedule (evenings and weekends preferred) Full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities available In-person (Virginia Beach) Why This Opportunity This is not a build-from-scratch role.
