Skincare Lab Manager / Owner Company Overview Pomona Salt Cave & Spa is a unique, award-winning wellness destination built into the side of a mountain in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. We have developed our own proprietary skincare "4 The Ages Skincare Line" using high-quality, natural ingredients—formulated for professional "back bar" use in our treatments and available for retail to guests. We are now scaling production to wholesale our products to other spas and wellness centers nationwide. Join a passionate team dedicated to "Harvesting Beauty from the Seed of Health" in a serene, nature-inspired environment. Learn and accurately follow our established skincare formulas to manufacture products (creams, serums, masks, salts, etc.) in small-to-medium batches to support spa operations, retail sales, and growing wholesale demand.
Lab Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment at all times, following strict sanitation, safety, and cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular inventory counts of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging; track usage; and proactively order supplies to prevent stockouts while minimizing waste.
Quality Control:
Perform basic quality checks on ingredients and finished products, including visual inspection, pH testing (where applicable), and documentation to ensure consistency and safety.

Support Operations:
Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for retail shelves, spa treatment rooms, and wholesale shipments. Collaborate with the spa team on cross-selling opportunities and special product requests.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in formula refinement, new product testing (as skills develop), and process optimization to support business growth.
Other Duties:
As needed, support related tasks in the retail/gift shop or spa areas to ensure seamless guest experiences. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; cosmetology, esthetics, chemistry, or related coursework preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to cleanliness and precision. Ability to learn and strictly adhere to proprietary formulas and standard operating procedures.
