A successful candidate will be passionate about this position and take pride in assisting families through their most difficult times. Although this is a demanding position, it is also very rewarding, and we're looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who has a keen understanding of our products and services.

Daily Responsibilities:

Gather and complete necessary paperwork for the deceased. Prepare the deceased for burial or cremation. Attend visitation and funeral ceremonies. Assist with transfers from the place of death, back to the funeral home. Assist in preparation of the deceased under the supervision of a licensed funeral director/embalmer.

Requirements:

Valid state issued driver's license in good standing, and with a clean driving record. Eligibility to attain an apprentice embalmer license upon hire.

Pay from:

$40,000/year.

Education:

Enrolled/seeking enrollment in a funeral service program, or Associate/Bachelor in Funeral Service program (Preferred). Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Medical Examiner release and cremations software, and VIP Death Registry System/MAVRIC ERDS are preferred.
