Golf Course Outside Service Assistant

Outside Service Assistant - Job Summary The Outside Service Assistant supports daily golf operations by maintaining golf carts and ensuring a smooth experience for golfers from arrival to departure. This role focuses on cart preparation, cleanliness, staging, and general outside service support, including practice facilities. Key Responsibilities Clean, wash, and sanitize golf carts after each use Stage carts according to tee times in an organized manner Ensure carts are fully charged and in proper working condition Set up and maintain the practice range, including collecting balls and restocking baskets Greet golfers and assist with loading and unloading golf bags as needed Monitor cart usage and report any damage or maintenance issues Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, staging areas, and practice facilities Assist with tournament and event setup as directed Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Qualifications Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Good communication and guest service skills Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus Ability to follow instructions and work independently Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry golf bags (up to 40-50 lbs) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Work Environment Outdoor and semi-outdoor areas including cart barn, driving range, and staging areas Regular interaction with golfers, staff, and management Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage Tips Golf privileges or discounts when available Uniform provided Ideal Candidate A dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining equipment and facilities, and contributes to a positive experience for golfers.
