Job Description

For generations, our funeral home has been honored to serve families in our community with compassion, dignity, and personalized care. We are seeking a caring, professional, and dependable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Administrative Support Specialist . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in providing exceptional customer service, and understands the importance of creating a warm and welcoming environment. As a member of our team, you will support our Funeral Directors and staff while helping families navigate important arrangements with comfort and confidence. Position Overview The Administrative Support Specialist plays a key role in the daily operations of our funeral home. This individual serves as a welcoming presence for families and visitors, provides administrative support, and helps ensure that all office functions are handled efficiently and with attention to detail. Responsibilities Greet families and visitors with warmth, compassion, and professionalism Answer and direct telephone calls in a courteous and caring manner Provide administrative support to Funeral Directors and staff Prepare, process, and organize service-related documents and paperwork Manage scheduling, correspondence, filing, and data entry Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the funeral home office Qualifications Previous administrative or office experience preferred Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with QuickBooks is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team Experience in the funeral profession is welcomed but not required If you are seeking a meaningful opportunity to serve others while working in a supportive, family-oriented environment, we would welcome the opportunity to hear from you.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
