We take great pride in ensuring every detail is handled with care, respect, and excellence. Position Summary The Funeral Attendant supports funeral directors and staff in preparing, coordinating, and assisting with funeral, memorial, and graveside services. This role requires professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work with grieving families in a respectful manner. Key Responsibilities Assist with funeral, memorial, and visitation services, ensuring smooth operations and proper setup. Greet, guide, and support family members and guests during services. Prepare chapels, viewing areas, and reception spaces, including arranging chairs, floral displays, and audio/video equipment. Escort pallbearers, processions, and family members during services. Drive funeral vehicles (such as funeral coach, family car, or flower vehicle) as needed. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of funeral home facilities and vehicles. Handle administrative tasks such as collecting guest registers, service materials, and memorial items. Follow all safety, health, and confidentiality guidelines. Provide compassionate, courteous, and professional assistance at all times. Qualifications & Requirements Professional, calm, and respectful demeanor. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items such as chairs, flowers, and equipment. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions carefully. Prior funeral service, hospitality, or customer care experience preferred (not required).
