We are a respected Mortuary and Crematory located in Sachse, TX seeking a dependable and professional Removal Technician to join our team on a part-time, temporary 6-month contract basis, with the potential opportunity for full-time employment after the contract period. This position is a great opportunity for mortuary students or individuals interested in starting a career in the funeral service industry. No prior experience is required — all newly hired team members receive hands-on, in-house training from our licensed funeral and crematory staff. The Removal Technician will assist with the care, transfer, and transportation of decedents throughout the DFW area while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and respect for the families we serve.
Responsibilities Include:
Removal and transportation of decedents throughout the DFW area Completing required documentation and paperwork accurately Computer data entry and administrative support Answering phones and assisting with family and service inquiries Cleaning and maintaining the facility Assisting licensed staff in the cremation process Participating in scheduled on-call shifts
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Ability to lift, pull, and maneuver a minimum of 100 lbs Strong punctuality and time management skills Professional appearance and compassionate demeanor Availability to work on-call shifts
