Tacoma, WA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 - $45 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Heavy lifting Customer service Driver's License EMT experience Driving Communication skills Full Job Description Tuell-McKee Funeral home in Tacoma is looking to hire an on-call (nights/weekends/holidays) Removal Technician. Our removal techs are professional and caring people who respond to death calls after hours, going to the place of death and bringing loved ones into our care. Pay is per call , $45 for a removal within Pierce County and $55 for out of county removals (King, Kitsap) Weekend on-call shifts are 24 hours. Weeknight shifts are 5pm-8am the following day. There is some flexibility with scheduling to accommodate other work or school schedules, which can be discussed during the interview. Competitive compensation and a unique opportunity to work in the funeral industry! No prior experience is necessary but those with experience in EMT/Nursing are especially encouraged to apply as well as mortuary school students and anyone with an interest in funeral service. Opportunities for growth within our funeral home are available. We are a small family owned and operated funeral home.
