In this vital role, you will provide empathetic bereavement support, coordinate funeral directing activities, and ensure seamless event planning for memorial services. Your expertise in physiology, anatomy, and sanitation will be essential to uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism. Responsibilities Offer compassionate bereavement support to grieving families, guiding them through difficult conversations with sensitivity and understanding Coordinate funeral arrangements, including scheduling, logistics, and liaising with clients to meet their needs Manage the preparation and presentation of bodies, including cosmetology services and dissection when necessary, ensuring respectful handling at all times Oversee sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment in all areas of the facility Assist with event planning for memorial services, coordinating logistics such as venue setup, transportation, and documentation Conduct heavy lifting when required to move caskets or equipment safely and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by addressing families' questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Experience Prior experience in funeral directing or related roles is highly desirable Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand body preparation processes Experience in bereavement support or grief counseling is a plus Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols within a healthcare or mortuary setting Ability to perform dissection procedures with precision when necessary Skills in event planning and coordination to manage memorial services effectively Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about providing compassionate care and support during life's most sensitive moments.
