In this role, you will guide families through the funeral planning process with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. You will help create meaningful services, ensure all arrangements are handled with care, and provide support that reflects our commitment to dignity and excellence. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about serving others. Responsibilities Provide compassionate support to grieving families, offering guidance with sensitivity and understanding Coordinate funeral and memorial arrangements, including scheduling, merchandise selection, and logistical planning Assist families with event planning for services, viewings, and ceremonies to create meaningful experiences Perform funeral directing duties as needed, ensuring all services are carried out professionally and in compliance with safety and legal standards Present service and merchandise options, helping families make informed decisions that meet their needs Perform physical tasks such as lifting caskets, equipment, or supplies to support service setup and operations Maintain accurate documentation of arrangements, communications, and service details for compliance and record‑keeping Collaborate with funeral directors, operations teams, and partner facilities to ensure seamless service delivery Skills Strong ability to provide empathetic bereavement support using active listening and emotional intelligence Experience or training in funeral service, counseling, hospitality, or related fields preferred Excellent event planning skills with the ability to organize meaningful services that honor each family's wishes Physical stamina and strength to safely perform heavy lifting in a fast‑paced environment Proven sales or service‑based communication skills with a compassionate, consultative approach Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Professionalism, discretion, and respect for diverse cultural and religious practices Compensation This is a commission‑based position. Compensation varies based on experience and individual performance. We value individuals who are committed to service excellence and who take pride in supporting families through their grief journey.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
