This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in multi‑site management, team development, and delivering exceptional care to the families we serve. About the Role The General Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple funeral home locations, ensuring consistent service excellence, regulatory compliance, and a strong, compassionate culture. This position plays a key role in supporting funeral directors, managers, and staff while upholding the standards and values of our organization. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for all funeral home locations within the organization Ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery and adherence to all regulatory requirements Support, mentor, and develop funeral directors, managers, and service teams Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and facility readiness across markets Strengthen community relationships and uphold brand standards Lead operational improvements, workflow efficiency, and long‑term growth initiatives Step in to support funeral directing and embalming needs when required Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational development Qualifications Funeral Director & Embalmer license strongly preferred Proven leadership experience in funeral home operations or multi‑location management Strong understanding of funeral service standards, compliance, and best practices Exceptional communication, decision‑making, and team‑building skills Ability to travel regularly between locations High level of professionalism, empathy, and integrity Compensation Competitive salary $75,000-$100,000 , based on experience and leadership capability Opportunities for advancement within a growing, multi‑location organization
