Job Description

Overview Join us as a Funeral Home Manager and lead the compassionate, professional operation of our funeral services. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements, staff coordination, and client support, ensuring every service is handled with dignity and respect. Your energetic leadership will foster a caring environment where families find comfort during their most difficult moments. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community while managing a dedicated team. Duties Coordinate and oversee funeral planning, ensuring all arrangements meet client wishes and legal requirements Lead and support staff in delivering exceptional bereavement support and funeral directing services Manage daily operations of the funeral home, including scheduling, logistics, and facility maintenance Organize and supervise memorial events and community outreach programs to foster strong relationships Assist families with grief support resources, providing empathetic guidance throughout the process Oversee sales efforts related to funeral packages, merchandise, and pre-arranged services to meet business goals Handle heavy lifting during setup or transportation of caskets and equipment while maintaining safety protocols Experience Proven experience in funeral directing or related bereavement support roles with a strong understanding of funeral service procedures Minimum 3 years experience managing a funeral home. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Excellent event planning abilities to coordinate memorial services and community events Strong sales aptitude with experience in client consultations and upselling funeral packages Compassionate communication skills to provide emotional support to grieving families This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to lead with empathy, organize meaningful ceremonies, and support families through life's most challenging moments.
