Funeral Director/Emblamer Intern

The Funeral Director Intern supports all aspects of funeral operations, services, and family care while gaining hands-on experience in the profession. Key Responsibilities Assist with funeral and memorial services Greet and guide families and visitors Answer phones and direct calls professionally Maintain service areas, lobby, and facilities Assist with transportation of the deceased Support preparation, dressing, and casketing as directed Help with visitations, services, and graveside ceremonies Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies Follow all safety, identification, and universal precaution standards Complete required documentation accurately Attend training and support continuous improvement Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements Registered Funeral Director Intern with the Louisiana State Board or be currently enrolled in a mortuary science program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Reliable attendance
