Embalmer and Funeral Director

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Embalmer and Funeral Director to join our team. Responsibilities Coordinate and conduct funeral services, ensuring all arrangements meet family wishes and legal requirements Prepare the deceased with dignity, including embalming, cosmetology, sanitation, and dissection as needed Provide bereavement support to families, offering comfort and guidance throughout the funeral planning process Manage logistics for funeral events, including scheduling, transportation, and setup to create respectful ceremonies Assist with sales activities by explaining service options and helping families select appropriate arrangements Maintain accurate records of all procedures, documentation, and compliance with health and safety standards Ensure the sanitation of facilities and equipment in accordance with health regulations and industry best practices Experience Previous experience in funeral directing or related roles within the funeral services industry Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to handle preparation processes safely and respectfully Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with grieving families Experience in event planning to coordinate funeral ceremonies seamlessly Familiarity with sanitation procedures, cosmetology techniques, and dissection practices preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling caskets or equipment Background in sales or client consultation to assist families in selecting services confidently This role is designed for motivated professionals eager to provide heartfelt support during life's most challenging moments.
