Licensed Funeral Director

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated and Funeral Director to join our team. Responsibilities Coordinate funeral arrangements by collaborating closely with families to understand their wishes and needs Lead funeral ceremonies, ensuring all details are executed with dignity and precision Assist families with bereavement support, providing compassionate guidance throughout their grieving journey Manage the preparation of bodies, including sanitation, cosmetology, dissection, and anatomical procedures as needed Oversee event planning for memorial services, viewings, and receptions to create respectful and comforting environments Handle heavy lifting involved in transporting caskets or equipment safely and efficiently Maintain detailed records of all services performed, including documentation related to anatomy and physiology procedures Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assist with body preparation and dissection tasks Excellent customer service skills to support grieving families with empathy and professionalism Proven experience in funeral directing, event planning, and coordinating memorial services Ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure health standards are met Competence in cosmetology techniques for body preparation and presentation Familiarity with sales techniques to assist families in selecting appropriate services or products Ability to provide bereavement support that addresses emotional needs while maintaining composure under pressure This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in dynamic environments where compassion meets precision. $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
