This role is designed for a leader who can support funeral directors, strengthen structure, and guide a team with clarity and accountability. You will oversee the funeral home team, ensuring each team member has the coaching, direction, and support needed to deliver exceptional service. Working closely with the Managing Partner of Operations, you will help shape the vision, drive goals, and maintain strong reporting and financial performance. This is a true management role—ideal for someone ready to step out of directing mode and into leading the overall operation. You'll serve as a steady partner to the team, stepping in when needed, helping staff grow, and supporting families during difficult moments. Responsibilities Plan events such as holiday events, and state memorial days, visits community places (Churches, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, or Community Centers) Lead and develop a cooperative team environment that is respectful, communicative, accountable, and service-oriented Direct and lead funeral home operations Achieve the location's annual case volume and revenue goals while ensuring that growth measures remain profitable by effectively managing expenses Select, train, and motivate location staff to ensure delivery of service is above and beyond family expectations Qualifications Licensed Funeral Director in the state of Tennessee or must be able to reciprocate 5+ years of experience in related field 2+ years of management or leadership experience, funeral profession preferred Excellent customer relations and actively looking for ways to help others Professional communication and effective leadership skills We are an equal-opportunity employer.
