We are a fourth-generation, family-owned organization that has proudly served the community since 1945. This is a full-time position with a predictable schedule , no night embalming, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a setting focused on quality, care, and consistency.
What We Offer Starting compensation:
$60,000+ (based on experience) Predictable schedule - No night embalming Work rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off 17 days of PTO 401(k) with company match Health insurance (75% employer-paid) Clear path for advancement within the organization Key Responsibilities Perform all embalming procedures in accordance with state licensing requirements and company standards Prepare decedents for services with attention to detail, respect, and professionalism Maintain proper documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements Collaborate with funeral directors and team members to ensure continuity of care Uphold sanitary and safety standards within the preparation room Contribute to a respectful, efficient, and team-oriented work environment Qualifications Current Texas Embalmer License (required) Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a team Professional, dependable, and consistent in daily responsibilities Experience is welcome, but attitude and temperament are prioritized Work Environment You will be joining an organization with strong leadership, clear expectations, and a supportive team culture .
