Job Description

A respected, family-owned funeral home is seeking a dedicated and well-rounded Funeral Director/Embalmer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
Meet with families to guide them through arrangement conferences, helping create personalized and meaningful funeral services Coordinate and oversee all aspects of services, including visitations, ceremonies, and burials, ensuring all details align with family wishes and legal requirements Perform embalming and preparation with strict adherence to health, safety, and professional standards Provide compassionate, professional support to families during difficult times Maintain accurate records and documentation for all services and arrangements Collaborate with clergy, cemeteries, florists, and other partners to ensure seamless service execution
Qualifications:
Active Funeral Director/Embalmer license (state required) Proven experience in funeral service, including arrangements and embalming Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
