• Understand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents
• Operate the washer and dryer controls Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day Transfers all linens already in the washer to the dryer immediately upon completion of the first washing cycle, put a new load in the washer and performs the basic duties upon completion of the first drying cycle Ensures that all storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking out
• Removes laundry from chutes & carts; presorts linens to locate stained or torn items
