Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines with precision and care. Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics and special materials like dry cleaning items. Perform cleaning tasks including folding, ironing, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing workstations and equipment to meet health standards. Assist with dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring garments are treated according to specific care instructions. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed. Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or equipment malfunctions during laundry operations. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred. Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Good physical stamina; capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads.
