The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, hygienic environment for our residents. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the comfort and well-being of our residents by ensuring their linens, clothing, and other fabric items are properly cleaned and maintained. Prior experience in laundry services, cleaning, or hotel operations is highly valued, and training will be provided to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, clothing, and resident personal items according to established protocols. Ensure all laundry is handled in accordance with infection control procedures and safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times. Assist with special cleaning projects such as dry cleaning or stain removal when necessary. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed. Collaborate with staff members to prioritize laundry tasks based on resident needs and facility schedules. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services, cleaning, or hotel operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
