Laundromat Attendant - Fluff & Fold

Job Summary:

Lake Forest Laundry is a family-owned laundromat located in Lake Forest. We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our team as Laundromat Attendants focusing on Fluff & Fold orders. Attendants will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the laundromat by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness, and performing various tasks such as washing and folding clothes. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed. Operate and maintain the point of sale system (POS), including processing transactions and maintaining accurate records. Perform various tasks such as washing, drying, and folding clothes. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundromat, including wiping down machines, clearing aisleways, and emptying garbage. Monitor and maintain equipment, including reporting any issues to management and performing minor maintenance tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Must be dependable and punctual, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with technology, including point of sale systems and other equipment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred, but not required. Previous experience in a laundry or cleaning environment is preferred, but not required.

Salary and Schedule:

Starting hourly rate of $18 Part-time positions available, with a flexible schedule that may include morning, evening, and weekend shifts. Available shifts are 7am-11am, 11:00am-4pm, and 4-8pm. Weekend availability is preferred.
