A luxurious translation of a road trip pit stop, the hotel features 114 guest rooms, a historic theater, and four distinct dining experiences, all reflective of California's Central Valley. What you'll do: Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos, and verbal instruction Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures and standards Identify and pre-treat stains on linens and fabrics before washing to ensure the best possible results Regularly clean and maintain laundry equipment to ensure optimal functionality; report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department Keep track of linen inventory and alert supervisor when reordering is necessary to maintain adequate stock levels Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and quality, ensuring they meet the hotel's standards before returning them to circulation Distribute clean and folded laundry items to housekeeping and other departments as needed Maintain a lost and found system for laundry items and return them to appropriate departments Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines while handling and processing laundry items Work closely with housekeeping and front office departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of laundry items Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary Ensure open lines of communication with all departments and management via email, logbooks, meetings, etc. to ensure all needs of the outlet are met Assist in the implementation of special projects Be available to fill in and assist in other areas as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the outlet as directed by the outlet manager and attend relevant meetings as directed Who you are: You have previous experience in laundry operations or a related field preferred. You are able to interpret standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation instructions. You have the physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of laundry. You have time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize laundry processing efficiently.
