Laundromat Attendant

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their laundry needs, ensuring a positive experience.

Wash and fold service:

Provide premium drop-off services for customers, including professional sorting, washing, drying, and folding. Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding stations efficiently. Monitor the laundromat area regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of machines. Handle cash transactions accurately using cashiering and cash handling procedures; provide change and receipts as needed. Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is required. Assist with basic cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and organizing the facility to uphold high standards of hygiene. Support customers with questions about machine operation or laundry services, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; a friendly attitude is essential! Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently and accurately. Experience with dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is key. Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively and courteously. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties safely. Attention to detail to ensure machines are well-maintained and the environment remains tidy. Familiarity with cleaning procedures and basic equipment operation will help you succeed in this role.
