Evening Shifts Position Overview DZ Laundry is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Evening Laundry Attendant to support operations across our Riverside locations. This role requires working independently during evening hours while maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment. This is a non-exempt, hourly position subject to all applicable California wage and hour laws. Schedule This position follows a set, consistent schedule across two locations:

Wednesday & Thursday:

3:30 PM•11:00 PM (Rubidoux)

Friday:

6:30 PM•11:00 PM (Arlington) Each shift includes a mandatory 30-minute unpaid meal break , which must be taken, uninterrupted, and properly recorded in compliance with California law . Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of washers, dryers, floors, folding areas, and restrooms Ensure the laundromat remains safe, organized, and customer-ready at all times Assist customers with machine use, basic troubleshooting, and approved refunds Enforce store policies, including addressing loitering or non-customer activity Monitor the facility and remain visible and attentive throughout the shift Report maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns promptly Complete required cleaning logs and documentation accurately Work Standards & Expectations Must remain present and actively working for the entire scheduled shift Accurate timekeeping (clock-in/out and meal breaks) is required Compliance with attendance, safety, and conduct policies is mandatory Overtime is paid in accordance with California law Position operates under DZ Laundry's Alternate Workweek Schedule (AWS) Qualifications Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and strong punctuality Attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform light physical tasks for extended periods Previous experience in janitorial, laundry, or customer service is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Benefits Paid time off Professional development support Equal Employment Opportunity DZ Laundry is an equal opportunity employer.
