As a Laundry Attendant, you play an important role in maintaining the quality and presentation of hotel linens, restaurant and banquet linens, employee uniforms, and other essential laundry items. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to upholding high hospitality standards.

Non-Exempt Position Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for sorting, laundering, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing hotel linens and uniforms while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the laundry operation. This role supports multiple hotel departments by ensuring a consistent supply of clean, high-quality linens and garments for guest rooms, restaurants, banquets, and team members. Essential Responsibilities Sort, count, and prepare linens, uniforms, and other laundry items for washing Operate commercial washers, dryers, ironers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently Separate and untangle wet linens following wash cycles Load and unload laundry equipment while maintaining quality standards Iron, fold, stack, and organize clean linens and uniforms for distribution and storage Package and store clean linen bundles in designated areas Deliver linens and uniforms to designated hotel departments as needed Perform routine equipment operation and basic operator maintenance, including clearing jams and changing machine settings Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility, including sweeping floors and cleaning equipment surfaces Empty and clean dryer lint filters regularly to ensure safe operation Follow all safety procedures and hotel cleanliness standards Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with team members Support a culture of teamwork and guest satisfaction Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous hotel laundry or hospitality experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to follow directions and operate laundry equipment safely Dependable, team-oriented, and professional Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan Wellness and employee Assistance Program PerkSpot Employee Discount Program Hotel Stay Discounts Employee Meals AquaVie Fitness & Spa Membership Discount Training and Career Growth Opportunities Discounts at Grand America Hotels & Resorts properties Convenient access to trolley station and downtown bus routes Our Culture We believe in "People First and Guests Always."
