Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing efficiently. Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, pressing, folding, and packaging of laundered items to meet quality standards. Manage dry cleaning processes for delicate or special fabrics requiring specialized treatment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and laundry machinery. Record laundry processing details accurately and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, stain removal, and ironing. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work responsibilities.
