Job Description
Position Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, and hotel uniforms according to established procedures Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and report or remove items as needed Use appropriate detergents, chemicals, and cleaning agents safely and effectively Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and storage areas Monitor linen inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low Ensure proper handling and processing of guest laundry requests (if applicable) Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies and procedures Assist housekeeping staff with linen distribution and collection when needed
