Job Description

At Citrus Post-Acute, we pride ourselves on our ability to support one another as our culture is one of "teamwork makes the dream work!" We are a 144-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with rehabilitation services located in the heart of Santa Ana. We are currently looking for Laundry Staff's who are excited to be a part of a culture that celebrates a supportive environment!
Shifts Available:
Full-Time Morning (7 am - 3 pm) with 4 on 2 off rotation schedule Full-Time Evening (3 pm - 11 pm) with 4 on 2 off rotation schedule
Pay Range:
$17/hour
Position Overview:
As a Laundry Staff, you will provide the day-to-day activities of the laundry department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility and to assure that an adequate supply of laundry/linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents. Coordinate daily laundry services with other departments in the facility. Assist in developing procedures for performing daily laundry tasks. Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies. Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Assist in maintaining material safety data sheets (MSDSs) for hazardous chemicals in the laundry department. Keep work/assignment areas free of hazardous objects such as protruding mop/broom handles, unnecessary equipment, supplies, etc. Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to your supervisor. Ensure that established infection control and universal precautions practices are maintained when performing laundry procedures. Follow established policies governing the use/disposal of personal protective equipment and disposal of infectious wastes. Ensure that an adequate supply of laundry supplies is available to perform daily tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required) None required. On-the-job training provided.
