About the Role Lost Sock Laundromat is a growing, owner-operated laundry facility in Tahoe City serving both walk-in customers and commercial accounts in the North Lake Tahoe hospitality and vacation rental industry. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to work the laundry floor — operating machines, folding and finishing linens, and keeping the facility running smoothly. About Lost Sock Laundromat We're a small, tight-knit operation with professional-grade equipment — including a commercial flatwork ironer and EcoLab chemistry — that lets us deliver a quality of finish most laundry services can't match. We serve both self-serve walk-in customers and a growing list of commercial clients including vacation rentals and lodging properties. We invest in our equipment and in our team. What You'll Do Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package laundry for both walk-in customers and commercial linen accounts Operate commercial washers, dryers, and flatwork ironing equipment to quality standards Feed and fold linens, towels, and garments through the ironer; inspect finished product before packaging Assist walk-in customers with machine operation, payment questions, and general needs in both English and Spanish Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility throughout your shift Monitor machine cycles, reload equipment efficiently, and keep production moving Restock supplies, flag equipment issues, and communicate with ownership as needed What We're Looking ForRequired Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish — you'll use both every day with customers and teammates Reliable and punctual — this is a full-time role and consistent attendance matters Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably in a warm, humid environment Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing the job right the first time Preferred (Nice to Have) Prior experience in laundry, linen services, housekeeping, or a similar production environment Experience operating commercial washers, dryers, or flatwork ironing equipment Comfortable working independently and managing your time without close supervision Compensation & Benefits Pay $18-$20/hr Schedule Full-time and Part Time Location On-site — Tahoe City, CA How to Apply Send your resume and a brief note about your experience to lostsocktahoe@gmail.com.
